The invention relates to a drilling vessel comprising tower with a firing line, BOP storage areas and subsea tree storage areas at a storage deck on opposite sides of a moonpool, and a working deck located above the storage deck. The working deck, when seen in top view, is located between the BOP and subsea tree storage areas such that the storage areas are open at the top to accommodate a BOP or subsea tree having a height larger than the height between the storage deck and the working deck. According to the invention, the working deck is configured to be moved between a working position, a BOP transporting position that allows for moving BOPS between their storage area and the firing line, and a subsea tree transporting position that allows for moving the subsea trees between their storage area and the firing line. |
