<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection head which can eject a large liquid droplet at a high frequency by a simple drive control system. <P>SOLUTION: Multiple ejection elements (41, 42) each including a pressure chamber (53, 54) having a discharge port (51, 52), a supply channel (60, 62) which supplies liquid to the pressure chamber (53, 54), and an ejection energy generation means (65, 66) provided correspondingly to the pressure chamber (53, 54) are arranged, and the same pixel on a medium to be drawn is recorded by liquid (76) ejected from respective ejection elements (41, 42). Discharge operation characteristics of the paired ejection elements (41, 42) are equivalent, each ejection energy generation means (65, 66) is connected with a common signal line (73), and the same drive signal is applied simultaneously. The pressure chambers (53, 54) are connected via a joint channel (55), and the multiple discharge ports (51, 52) are arranged side by side in the direction of relative movement of the head (40) and the medium to be drawn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
