PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus wherein operational efficiency is improved and it is excellent in safety. SOLUTION: A sash bar 9 in which a spare pipe 6 or the like is installed is provided at a mount 7 of a required shape, a frame 8 is provided on an upper face, and a changeable separation pipe 1 is provided on the uppermost stage. A steel-made wood-receiving pad 3 is at a specific interval provided to its lower part, and further a hydraulic cylinder 5 and a hydraulic hose 4 are connected to the pad 3. When the core-extracting apparatus is actuated after placing a wood for core-extraction on the pad 3, the pad moves vertically. Though the core stops for an instance by the separation pipe 1, a skin advances by the momentum, so the skin is separated in a state of as if with an umbrella opened around the separated pipe 1, and the operational efficiency is improved, and the safety is ensured.
