It is intended to provide a specific peptide fragment of LYVE-1 which can serve as an epitope of a lymphatic duct-specific antibody and an antibody recognizing the above peptide fragment. A peptide fragment comprising the amino acid sequence: Ser Lys Lys Thr Asp Lys Asn Pro Glu Glu Ser Lys, or a peptide fragment derived therefrom by addition of an amino acid as a linker to the C-terminal or the N-terminal thereof.
