PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat fluorescent lamp improved in stability and durability by suppressing generation of a dark part and a pinking phenomenon by equalizing a temperature distribution in the flat fluorescent lamp; and to provide display device including the same. SOLUTION: This flat fluorescent lamp includes: a lamp body 760 having a plurality of discharge spaces for generating light; electrodes 768 respectively formed at both ends facing to each other of the lamp body 760; and a plurality of cold spots 763 formed on the rear surface of the lamp body 760.
