<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide surface mounting equipment in which the moving distance or moving time of a head unit for recognizing an imaging object can be shortened more effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mounting equipment comprises a mechanism which drives a head unit 6 for a mounting machine body along the XY plane, two cameras 17 and 18 provided in the head unit 6 at different positions, and a section 19 for controlling the drive mechanism based on the position of a mark Fa, Fb put on at least one of a print circuit board 3 and the mounting machine body and the position of the head unit 6 such that one of the cameras 17 and 18 located closest to the mark Fa, Fb or movable to the mark Fa, Fb in the shortest time can image the mark Fa, Fb. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
