<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure contact of a terminal of a card detector with a terminal of an SD card in insertion of the SD card to a card installation part while retaining the spring property of the terminal of the card detector, and ensure operation of the terminal of the card detector, even in insertion of a substantially irregular SD card, to detect writability thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The card installation part 2 includes a write protector 5 and the card detector 6, the card detector being provided on a deep wall part 2b of the card installation part. The deep wall part includes groove parts 2c and 2d extending from near both ends of the inside surface to near the center part, and both terminals 6a and 6b of the card detector are disposed in the groove parts at both sides, so that a tip portion 6c of one terminal is bent inwardly, and a tip portion 6d of the other terminal is slightly bent inwardly. When the SD card is inserted, its top end surface presses the tip portion of the one terminal of the card detector to bring the tip portion of the one terminal into contact with the tip portion of the other terminal, whereby it is detected that the card is writable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
