PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheathed thermocouple fixable to a container when fluid in the container has a high pressure, in a procedure for exposing the sheathed thermocouple to the fluid in the container directly without using a protection tube. SOLUTION: A central portion of a sheath tube of the sheathed thermocouple 10 is formed to be thick, hereby constituting the outer diameter of the central portion 10b to be thicker than each outer diameter of a temperature measuring portion 10a and route side portions 10c, 10d. The sheathed thermocouple 10 is fixed without slipping out because the central portion 10b is thick, by utilizing the high pressure inside the container. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
