PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus which communicates with an RF (radio frequency) tag in a non-contact manner, and a system including the communication device.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus includes a communication section which communicates with an RF tag in a non-contact manner, a transceiving section which transmits/receives data to/from a host device, and a control section which controls the communication section and the transceiving section. Every time the communication section sequentially reads data from RF tags passing through a communication area located near the communication section at regular intervals or irregular intervals, the control section updates first data transmitted/received by the transceiving section so as to include the read data, and updates second data transmitted/received to/from the host device by the transceiving section to a value different from a past value, in association with update time of the first data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
