The present invention relates to a producing method of highly active magnetic silica nanoparticles, to highly active magnetic silica nanoparticles produced by the method, and to a separating method of nucleic acids using the highly active magnetic silica nanoparticles. The highly active magnetic silica nanoparticles produced by the present invention contains magnetic nanoparticles and can separate the nucleic acids with high yields because magnetic silica nanoparticles completely enclosed by silica are used as a reagent for separating biomaterials, especially the nucleic acids.
