PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device consuming less power, and an electronic apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: A switch element is provided in a word line driving circuit in order to reduce the leakage current caused in the word line driving circuit. Specifically, the switch element is provided between the word line driving circuit and a high-voltage power source or a low-voltage power source. In the absence of the memory access, the switch element is turned off to block the voltage (or current) application from the high-voltage power source or the low-voltage power source to the word line driving circuit. Moreover, a switch element is provided in a bit line driving circuit to reduce the standby power required in pre-charging the bit line. Specifically, the switch element is provided between the bit line and the high-voltage power source or the low-voltage power source. In the absence of the memory access, the switch element is turned off to block the voltage (or current) application from the high-voltage power source or the low-voltage power source to the bit line driving circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
