- BEBITZA STRUCTURED INFANT SWADDLE A swaddling suit for swaddling an infant, including a bodice portion (1), and a lower portion (2) enclosing the legs (4). Two wing portions (5, 11) are attached to the shoulder (9) of the bodice, and fold in to enclose the infant's torso. The lower portion which is split into two portions enclose the infant's legs separately. The infant is laid on their back on the swaddle, with their legs in the two portions of the lower portion. The wings are then folded in over the infant's torso. The wings enclose the infant firmly to prevent arm movement and to prevent the startle reflex. Tabs (10) on a wing hold hook and loop fasteners (6), which are secured to wrap the infant securely to prevent movement of the swaddled infant from a supine position to a prone position. The suit then forms one garment when it is secured correctly. The garment is composed of soft fabric. Attached bias binding assists to maintain the shape of the swaddle.
