ELECTROCONDUCTIVE ROLLER AND PICTURE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive roller and a picture forming device that can form a fogging-free picture even in a low humidity environment.

SOLUTION: An electroconductive roller 1 comprises an elastic layer 3 formed on an outer circumferential face of an axial body 2 and an urethane coating layer 4 formed on an outer circumferential face of the elastic layer 3. The urethane coating layer 4 has, as its main component, an urethane resin containing polyisocyanate and polyester polyol of which the hydroxyl value (OHV) is 40 to 250 KOH mg/g and the average degree of branching represented by the number of hydroxyl groups per 1 g to the number of molecules per 1 g is 2.5 to 8. A picture forming device includes the electroconductive roller 1.
