<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior material for an automobile having substantially constant impact energy absorbing capacity, regardless of a temperature. <P>SOLUTION: This exterior material is a foam of composite resin including 100 pts.wt. of high-density polyethylene based resin having density 931-950 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>and 100-500 pts.wt. of polystyrene based resin. In the exterior material, a ratio Q1/Q2 of fracture point displacement quantity Q1 at +23°C to fracture point displacement quantity Q2 at -50°C is ≤1.5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
