PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an extra-fine plating molding by subjecting the surface of a synthetic resin-made molding having an extra-fine surface shape to metal plating treatment.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a synthetic resin-made extra-fine plating molding comprises steps of: forming an integrated article which comprises a work part 1 having an extra-fine shape and a support part 2 for rigidly holding the work part 1 by using a predetermined ABS-containing thermoplastic synthetic resin material; next, sending the integrated article to a pretreatment step (A) including a cleaning step; next, sending the article to an electroplating step (B) comprising the respective steps of copper plating treatment, nickel plating treatment and chromium plating treatment; thereby, separating the resulting support part 2 and the resulting work part 1 from the resulting article which is subjected to predetermined electroplating treatment as a whole to take out the separated work part 1. Thereby forming the extra-fine plating molding having metallic colors on the surface thereof. |
