The present invention provides a conference backup method and device. The method includes: a conference node detects a first module working abnormally in the modules of the conference node, wherein the modules include at least one of the following: a conference service module, a calling service module and a media service module; and the conference node replaces the first module with a second module, so as to support a conference held at the conference node. The second module includes modules at other conference nodes except for the conference node. The present invention resolves the problem of wasting conference resources, implements interacting backup of resources between the conference nodes, and reduces waste of the conference resources. |
