The present invention facilitates construction of a production facility that employs a robot in an application operation. An application system of the disclosure of the present invention includes: a transport chamber (2); an application chamber (3) arranged above or below the transport chamber (2) and at least partially overlapping the transport chamber (2) in plan view; a receiving port (4) and a discharge port (5) which open in the same direction as the transport chamber (2); a transport device (10) by which a cassette (C) accommodating a plurality of workpieces (W) is transported from the receiving port (4) to the discharge port (5) along a reciprocating transport route within the transport chamber (2); one or a plurality of elevators (14, 15) by which the cassette (C) positioned on the transport route is hoisted between the transport chamber (2) and the application chamber (3); and a robot system (20) which includes one or a plurality of robots (21, 22) for applying a liquid to each of the plurality of workpieces (W), and which is disposed in the application chamber (3).
