CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR AND AIR CYCLE SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dust collecting capacity without re-scattering dust and increasing pressure loss. SOLUTION: High temp. and high humidity air containing dust flows in a cyclone container main body from an air-to-be-treated introducing part 3 to become a revolving stream but, when air is revolved in the cylindrical cooling part 5 inserted in the cyclone container main body 1 to be cooled, dust becomes a nucleus to generate the nuclear condensation of steam and condensed waterdrops gradually grow largely to adhere to the surface of the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical cooling part by the centrifugal force of the revolving air stream to form a liquid film. Dust contained in the revolving air stream is adsorbed and collected by the liquid film. Dewing water forming the liquid film contains dust to become dust-containing water which then flows down along the surface of the inner peripheral wall of the cylindrical cooling part 5 and the surface of the inner peripheral wall of the conical cylindrical part 1b of the cyclone container main body 1 under gravity to be discharged out of the system from a dust- containing liquid discharge part 4. Clean air after dust is removed flows out to a next stage from an upper clean air discharge part 2.
