PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external gasket capable of reuse upon exchanging a filter cloth and an external gasket-mounting filter plate. SOLUTION: The filter plate is constituted of a cylindrical section 1 which is integrally provided with a flange 2 on an outer circumferential edge of the cylindrical section 1 and fitted to a ring-shaped spacer 3 having a diameter capable of fitting to the cylindrical section 1 and the spacer 3 is capable of overlapping the flange 2. The flange 2 is engaged with an opening edge of the filter plate provided with a tube line communicating with both adjacent filter plates and adhered closely to the surroundings of the tube line of the adjacent filter plates to make it possible to seal the tube line.
