A method for local hypothermia of lower jaw after trauma and in postoperative period comprises the use of cooling element and fixative device. The cooling element is "Cold-Bag" cryopackage of industrial production, that is fixed on a lower jaw from the side of operative intervention or trauma by means of bandage of plain-woven fabric having pockets of corresponding size for cryopackage and rubbers for adjusting of bandage size.
