PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic tape cartridge where the internal inspection of the winding appearance of a magnetic tape etc. is easy, and to provide a testing method of the magnetic tape cartridge. SOLUTION: The magnetic tape cartridge is obtained by rotatably housing a single reel with the magnetic tape wound thereon in a cartridge case. At the tip of the magnetic tape, a pull-out member is formed. At the cartridge case, a take-out port is formed, and a slide door which opens the take-out port when the pull-out member is pulled out by a magnetic recording and reproducing device is provided.
