PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change information to be displayed according to user's ability. SOLUTION: A disk player is provided with: an operation unit for receiving user's operation input; an error identification information generation means for deciding an error number corresponding to an error (S02) when the error occurs in a process executed based on the operation input to the operation unit (YES in S01); a storage means for storing the number of error occurrence times for each error identification information (S03); a display means for displaying an error message corresponding to the generated error number or the error number according to the error occurrence (S06 or S10); and an inhibition means for inhibiting the displaying of display information by the display means (NO in S11) when the number of error occurrence times is equal to or more than a second threshold value (YES in S09).
