PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply set key repetition intervals by depression and re-depression of keys. SOLUTION: A depression detection part detects key depression and release of key depression of a user. After terminating detection by the depression detection part, a depression pattern determination part is called, processing starts and the result of key repetition interval change conditions regarding key depression timing and timing of release of the key depression is determined. When setting conditions are established, a setting part sets the key repetition intervals, and adjusts the key repetition intervals when adjustment conditions are established.
