PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device which optimizes access latency and improves the performance of an internal bus. SOLUTION: Pipeline registers 20-23, selectors 24-27 and a selector-switching controller 28 which is accessible from software are provided. A path which goes through each of the pipeline registers 20-23 and a path which does not go through each of the pipeline registers can be selected to prevent occurrence of excess access latency in an internal bus.
