PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind turbine device capable of preventing generation of yawing motion of a nacelle. SOLUTION: This wind turbine device has: the nacelle 5 installed with a blade 2 receiving force of a wind to rotate; a gear 23 installed in a tower 7 rotatably supporting the nacelle around a vertical axis; a plurality of yaw gears 22 installed inside the nacelle, meshing with the gear; a plurality of yaw motors 21 respectively connected to the plurality of yaw gears, generating torque rotating the plurality of yaw gears to rotate the nacelle around the vertical axis; and a controller 15 controlling the rotation of the nacelle around the vertical axis such that the nacelle faces a direction of the wind after a change when the direction of the wind changes. The controller generates torque less than a torque value generating reverse rotation of the nacelle, which is torque in a direction opposite to a direction of the rotation around the vertical axis before a stop in a part of the plurality of yaw motors after the nacelle faces the direction of the wind after the change and stops the rotation around the vertical axis, and performs control such that rotation of the plurality of yaw motors is locked.
