PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device removing iron powder by making lubricating oil including the iron powder merely flow on the surface of a magnet, i.e., a magnetic force amplifying device wherein a substrate formed of a magnetic material has a peripheral end having a cross sectional shape made acute in a triangular shape toward the tip and has a surface having a magnet installation part. SOLUTION: When installing the magnet in the magnet installation part, the substrate is magnetized, magnetic density is enlarged at the tip of the peripheral end, and, as a result, a magnetic force at the tip of the peripheral end can be amplified. The magnetic force can be amplified by this simple device, and as a result, a use value of the magnet can be enlarged. In the purifying device for the lubricating oil removing the iron powder by merely making the lubricating oil including the iron powder flow on the surface of the magnet, a removal effect of the iron powder is enlarged to improve the purifying efficiency of the lubricating oil.
