PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed flow compressor having enhanced performance by widening its operating range. SOLUTION: The mixed flow compressor is configured with a mixed flow impeller 11 which is rotated to give a dynamic pressure to a working fluid, a first diffuser stationary blade 12 installed in a passage for working fluid fed from the impeller 11 for converting the dynamic pressure of the working fluid into a static pressure, and a second diffuser stationary blade 13 installed in the fluid passage in a position downstream of the first diffuser stationary blade 12 for converting the dynamic pressure of the working fluid into static pressure, wherein the number of vanes 42 of the second diffuser stationary blade 13 is made larger than the number of vanes 41 of the first diffuser stationary blade 12.
