PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a constitution which realizes the effective reduction in stirring loss of refrigerator oil in a rotary fluid machine which keeps an annular piston part in an annular cylinder chamber and which is constituted so as to keep the cylinder and an annular piston part eccentrically rotatable relatively. SOLUTION: An operating space (18) is disposed radially outward of a cylinder side end plate (29) for connecting at axial one end an annular piston part (26) accommodated in annular cylinder chambers (C1, C2) to partition the cylinder chamber into an outside cylinder chamber (C1) and inside cylinder chamber (C2) and a cylindrical bearing part (28) driven by and connected with a driving mechanism (30). A groove part (70) is provided as an oil relief space (71) to the top surface of the lower housing (17) situated on the back side of the cylinder side end plate (29) so as to communicate to the operating space (18).
