PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system of a motorcycle in which an exhaust muffler is connected to an exhaust pipe extended from a cylinder head of an engine body, and with which an upper section and the outside surface of the exhaust muffler are covered by a protector, and which is capable of obtaining excellent durability and appearance and has high heat insulation performance to shield heat from the exhaust muffler. SOLUTION: The protector 37 comprises a first protector member 38 formed of metal covering at least the outside surface of the exhaust muffler 33, and a second protector member 39 formed of a synthetic resin covering the first protector member 38 from the outside while exposing an upper portion of the first protector member 38 to the outside.
