PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial turf which has an excellent crime prevention property as it emits a comparatively loud sound when somebody steps on it. SOLUTION: The artificial turf containing a filling material comprises the artificial turf in which pile is implanted in a base cloth, and a hard filling material filling the gap of the pile. When the sound volume measured by a specific method when no stepping pressure is applied is 60 dB or less, the difference between this sound volume and the sound volume measured by a specific method when a stepping pressure is applied is 8 dB or above.
