PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for a ceiling capable of absorbing the swing of right and left buildings even if they are swing in different longitudinal directions and so installable on right and left joint part side ceiling skeletons with both ends brought in a pivoted state that the installed position is not moved by the swing. SOLUTION: This joint device for the ceiling comprises at least a pair of pantograph load supporting link mechanisms extending in the vertical direction each having both ends pivotally supported on the joint part side ceiling skeleton of the right and left buildings at a position higher than the ceiling surface of the ceiling skeleton, a pantograph ceiling member supporting link mechanism of the same structure as the load supporting link mechanisms having both ends pivotally supported on the right and left joint part side ceiling skeleton near the ceiling surface at the lower part of the load supporting link mechanism and extending in the horizontal direction, suspending arms having both ends pivotally supported on the center pivot part of the ceiling member supporting link mechanism and the center pivot part of the load supporting link mechanism, and ceiling joint covers having rear ends pivotally supported on the center pivot part of the ceiling member supporting link mechanism and the end parts overlapped with each other to cover the ceiling joint part.
