PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manhole reinforcing method for easily reinforcing an internal wall of a manhole and ensuring sufficient strength of the manhole even in the environment of a narrow working space where power cables etc. are stored. SOLUTION: The manhole reinforcing method is composed of: a hanging support means setting step of setting a hanging support means 21 over an opening of the manhole 120; a steel product joint body forming step of forming a steel product joint body 6; a steel product joint body arranging step of arranging the steel product joint body 6 along the internal wall of the manhole 120; a reinforcing member joint body forming step of fitting fitting members to the steel product joint body 6; a steel plate link adding step of connecting steel plate links 11 to upper and lower, and right and left portions of a reinforcing member joint body 8; a frame body forming step of arranging a frame body 1 by carrying out the steel plate link adding step and the reinforcing member joint body forming step a plurality of times; and a filler injection step.
