PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus having a good responsibility for performing radio communication between a train and a vehicle. SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus 30 consists of a base band processing circuit 32, two radio devices 33 and 34, and antennae 35 and 36. The base band processing circuit 32 has a function for performing processings (201, 202, 206 and 207) for error detection and correction, modulation and demodulation processings (204, 205, 209 and 210) for the OFDM method, and hopping pattern generation processings (211 and 212) for a frequency hopping method. The radio devices 33 and 34 perform a frequency hopping processing (249) by different hopping patterns in sync with each other.
