Described herein is a cartridge (40) for use with apparatus (1) for heating smokable material to volatilise at least one component of the smokable material. The cartridge (40) comprises a housing (43) defining a chamber (44), smokable material (420) located in the chamber (44), and a mass of thermal insulation material (430) located between the smokable material (420) and the housing (43). Also disclosed is apparatus (1) for heating smokable material to volatilise at least one component of the smokable material. The apparatus (1) comprises an assembly having an interface (13), and the cartridge (40), wherein the cartridge (40) is for co-operating with the interface (13) of the assembly.
