PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily adjust a deviation of an ink ejection position in a color image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: In an adjustment method of an ink ejection position in a scanning direction of a print head, a color check pattern is printed by gradually changing an ink ejection position in a plus direction and a minus direction with zero as reference. The color check pattern is formed by arranging a thick line having the breadth of at least two or more dots in the scanning direction of the print head in a main scanning direction. A plurality of check patterns are prepared in each adjustment value of each ink ejection position to constitute a group. An optical device reads a group of check patterns of each of the adjustment values, calculates the average value of measurement values of check patterns of each read group, and adjusts the ink ejection position on the basis of color difference to a reference value of the average value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
