PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for both carrier telephone communication and IP telephone communication, by one telephone number assigned from a communication carrier.SOLUTION: A connection controller provided in a communication network connected with an IP telephone network and a carrier telephone network includes outgoing selection means for receiving an outgoing selection request including an origin telephone number and a destination telephone number from a user terminal, selecting an outgoing system of user terminal based on the origin telephone number and destination telephone number, and notifying the user terminal of the outgoing system thus selected, and call connection processing means for receiving a connection request transmitted from the user terminal by an outgoing system selected by the outgoing selection means, and determining whether the connection request arrives at the destination user terminal via the IP telephone network, or arrives at the destination user terminal via the carrier telephone network, based on the visiting situation of the destination user terminal having destination telephone number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
