ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to improve a transfer rate and rapidly perform the post processing of an ultrasonic signal by compressing the ultrasonic signal and transferring to a host computer. CONSTITUTION: A probe(100) includes a converter which receives an ultrasonic signal reflected from an object and changes the ultrasonic signal into an analog signal. An analog/digital converter(110) converts the analog signal outputted from the probe into a digital signal. A compression part(120) compresses the digital signal outputted from the analog/digital converter. A host computer(130) decompresses the compression of the digital signal compacted in the compression part. A display part(140) receives image frame data and displays an ultrasonic image.
