The present invention provides a method for preparing silver nanoparticles including: a step (first step) of preparing a seed solution by adding a reduction agent after dissolving a silver precursor in distilled water; a step (second step) of preparing a first growth solution and a second growth solution by adding a phytochemicals-derived organic acid into the silver precursor; a step (third step) of mixing the first growth solution with the seed solution; and a step (fourth step) of mixing the second growth solution with the mixed solution obtained through the third step. Accordingly, the silver nanoparticles can be manufactured in an eco-friendly method by not using a toxic reducing agent, a surfactant, and the like. The application of the silver nanoparticles in various bio fields as an antioxidant, a drug carrier, an X-ray/CT contrast medium, a hyperthermia agent, and the like is possible by precisely adjusting the size of the silver nanoparticles by using the phytochemicals-derived organic acid. |
