<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap that prevents its upper lid from being twisted or displaced when opened or closed and that is correctly guided and closed. <P>SOLUTION: In the hinge cap including a cap body A fitted over the mouth cylindrical portion of a container, and an upper lid B integrally formed on the cap body via a hinge C, the cap body includes: an engaging cylindrical portion 1, and a spout cylinder 2 connected to the inside of the engaging cylindrical portion. The engaging cylindrical portion includes: an upper wall 3; an outer cylinder extending downward from the outer peripheral edge of the upper wall; and a lid engaging portion extending upward from the upper part of the upper wall so as to engage with the upper lid. The lid engaging portion has an engaging piece on its upper face on the hinge side. The upper lid includes: a top wall; and a peripheral wall 21 extending downward from the peripheral edge of the top wall and provided with a hinge in a predetermined part of the peripheral lower end. The internal circumference of the peripheral wall includes: a diameter-expanded engaging portion 24 at its lower end; other internal circumferential portion 25; and a guide portion provide on the hinge side of the internal circumferential portion.
