PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamine compound that can be used as a part of a raw material of a polyamic acid and a derivative thereof used for a liquid crystal alignment agent, so as to provide a liquid crystal alignment agent that forms a liquid crystal alignment film having a high liquid crystal alignment property, low volume resistance value, and good electrical characteristics, such as a VHR.SOLUTION: Diamine including, in molecules, a primary or secondary amino group protected by a group desorbed by heat is used as a raw material of polyamic acid and a derivative thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
