摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical energy storage device that uses metal chloride as an electrode active material and excellent in reaction reversibility.SOLUTION: An electrochemical energy storage device has a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material, and nonaqueous electrolyte solution which contains any one of LiCl, Li(XSONSOY) (here, X and Y represents one of F, CF, (CF)) and (CF)forms annular imide anion) and LiBF, and at least one of tetrahydrofuran and polyethylene glycol having alkyl groups at both the terminals thereof, and is in contact with the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The positive active material contains chloride of Cu, Bi or Ag or the negative active material contains magnesium chloride.SELECTED DRAWING: None
