PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can properly transmit a signal from a transmission source to a transmission destination by using power line communication under an environment containing a transformer.SOLUTION: A communication system 100 comprises a relay device 130 connected to a first district out of power lines which are sectioned into the first district and a second district through one or more transformers, and a relay device 140 connected to the second district. The relay device 130 receives a signal from a communication device 120 connected to the first district to a communication device 150 connected to the second district. When it is not detected by the relay device 130 that the signal is not received by the relay device 140, the signal is transferred to the relay device 140 through a transmission path different form the power line, and when it is detected by the relay device 130 that the signal is received by the relay device 140, the signal is not transferred to the relay device 140 through the transmission path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
