Provided are a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker composition for identifying purple cabbage varieties, a primer, a probe and a microarray, a kit for selecting purple cabbage varieties including the primer and a reagent for carrying out an amplification reaction, and a method for selecting purple cabbage varieties. According to the present invention, the SNP marker composition includes polynucleotide or a polynucleotide complementary thereto, wherein the polynucleotide is composed of at least eight series of nucleotides including SNP at 1256^th base in base sequences of cabbage chalcone synthase (CHS) gene represented by sequence number 1. |
