1. An adjustable device for mounting an item (70) to a wall, the device comprising:
a first beam (20) having openings for positional fixing the first beam on the wall; a second beam (30) having a hook (35) for holding the item, a cross connector (40) mount said second beam (30) to said first beam, said second beam (30) and said cross connector (40) defining a ratchet allowing linear displacement of said second beam (30) relative to said cross connector (40) in a first direction, said ratchet locking said second beam (30) relative to said cross connector (40) in a second direction opposite said first direction and preventing a reverse displacement said second beam (30).
