The present invention refers to a three-dimensional scaffold consisting of poly-e- caprolactone, optionally pre-coated with human bone marrow stromal cells, to its use for engraftment and in vivo growth of human primary or IL6-dependent multiple myeloma cells in a non-human animal. The present invention also refers to a non-human animal carrying the scaffold of the invention.
