A recognition method and device for quickly counting the number of particles of a particle counter. The method comprises the steps of: inputting an input signal containing a plurality of pulse segments and stable segments (S101); according to a starting point threshold of each of the pulse segments, dividing the pulse segments and stable segments of the input signal (S102); searching for the highest peak of each pulse segment, and calculating the highest peak height corresponding thereto (S103); according to the corresponding highest peak height, calculating the width of each pulse segment at a fixed proportion height (S104); if the width is greater than a proportion height threshold, recognizing the pulse segments as non-particle signal segments, otherwise, recognizing same as particle signal segments (S105); counting the quantity of the particle signal segments, wherein the quantity is the number of recognized particles (S106). By means of the method, the number of particles can be quickly recognized, thereby facilitating the design and manufacturing of an apparatus. |
