PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, program, and method that make it possible to suppress occurrence of mistaking a commercial machine for providing network service for a machine that is not the commercial machine.SOLUTION: A display control device 100, which is used in a communication system in which connection is established from a user terminal 40 to a commercial machine 10 and a verification machine 20 as hosts, comprises: acquisition means for acquiring connection state information including a user name of a user terminal connecting with the host and a host name of the host; determination means for determining a type of the host of a connection destination on the basis of the host name in the connection state information acquired by the acquisition means; and display control means for making a display device perform information display at a position corresponding to the user name by using a display method corresponding to the type of the host of the connection destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
