An array substrate and a manufacturing method therefor, a display panel and a display device, capable of forming at least two common electrode slits, thereby improving the liquid crystal efficiency while avoiding the problem of color mixing caused by mutual influence of adjacent pixels. The array substrate comprises a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines, intersecting with each other. The plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines, intersecting with each other, define a plurality of pixel regions, each pixel region comprising a thin-film transistor. The array substrate further comprises a first insulating layer (31) disposed on the thin-film transistors and the data lines, a metal layer (32) disposed on the first insulating layer (31), a second insulating layer (33) located on the metal layer (32), and a pixel electrode (34) and common electrodes (35) disposed on the second insulating layer (33). A third insulating layer (36) is disposed between the pixel electrode (34) and the common electrodes (35). The common electrode (35) in each pixel region at least comprises two slits, wherein the metal layer (32) covers the data lines. |
