PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain optimized electrolytic control performance by providing plural output means having difference in the conversion level on an electrolytic current detection device, switching the conversion level, based on the level of the electrolytic current flowing in an electrolytic bath, and performing duty control. SOLUTION: A control means 19 switches the conversion level of the electrolytic currents flowing in electrode plates 9, 10 via a switching part 25 to an electrolytic current detection part 23 before a start of the production, and the conversion level of the electrolytic current detection part 23 is made to the conversion level of the primarily set electrolytic current detection part 23. In the case that the output level of the electrolytic current detection part 23 is over a switching judge level, the control means 19 switches the part 23 to an electrolytic current detection part 24 via the switching part 25, and in the case that the output level of the electrolytic current detection part 23 is lower than the switching judge level, a range of the electrolytic current detection is judged as optimum. Thus, the optimized electrolytic current detection range is found out.
