The magazine structure for temporary traffic signs, to be deployed and collected by a road vehicle, has one or more magazines (3) to hold the baseplates (4) and a magazine for the prepared traffic signs (9) on their pole shafts (10). The magazine (3) for the baseplates (4) has a vertical conveyor with continuous chains (8) over a continuous conveyor belt (2). The magazine for the traffic signs (9,10) has a further continuous conveyor belt (11), with holders for the ends of the poles and clamps (14) under the signs (9) on their poles (10). The vertical and horizontal (2,11) conveyors are operated by hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical drives, or a combination of drive systems.
